تاريخ التحديث: 2 أبريل 2020

1. Tips

- The tip of the previous video was not to hit hard on Legal English, rather to focus on English in the context of law and build gradually towards Legal English. That is what I call English for Lawyers. Take it easy and establish good grounds of studying English in the context of Law and Legal English, when time comes, will be easier to master and will be usable. Now focus on good vocabulary - good pronunciation - good grammar and good use)

- Tip of this video is to improve your pronunciation, not your accent: adopting different accents such as American or British or Australian doesn't sound natural, unless you mastered the language and have lived in the country of adopted language.

3. Pace

Speak slowly especially when you start learning. When you speak a second language, do not attempt to speak very fast or in a completely steady pace, measuring out every word evenly. Speaking Arabic, especially in Egypt, is fast by default, take that into account and slow down when you speak English. The combination of slow, fast, and medium speed makes your speech more engaging. Learn it from movies, news reports and audio books.

4. Intonation

Intonation is the way the pitch of your voice goes up and down as you talk. For example it is the way your voice raises in pitch at the end of a question, or the emphasize one part of the sentence. Intonation helps the listener understand you easily even if they did not hear or understand the whole sentence, they would understand it just by the tome of it. Practice makes perfect. .
